CALOPTIMA | Public Sector, Healthcare

Directed the strategic redesign of CalOptima.org, a multilingual healthcare platform serving over 800,000 members. Delivered a WCAG-compliant, mobile-first experience that boosted mobile engagement (<10% → 33%) and reduced web-related support calls by 90%.

Role: UX Strategy Lead (Principal Level)

Leadership Scope: Led the end-to-end redesign of CalOptima.org, managing cross-functional collaboration across Design, Development, Compliance, and Communications. Oversaw a team of UX contractors and led collaboration with PMs, dev teams, and regulatory stakeholders to define priorities, align outcomes, and ensure delivery.
